Ordering Apps

Ordering and Delivery App Development for Restaurants and ShopsTake Orders Directly, Without a Marketplace in Between

RafayLabs builds ordering and delivery apps for restaurants, grocers and local shops. Customers order from your own app, your staff see the order at once, and your riders deliver it.

What you get

Delivery marketplaces bring you orders and take a commission on each one. Your own app is for the customers who already know you.

Customer app

Menu or catalogue, cart, order tracking and one-tap reordering.

Order management

New orders appear for your staff at once, with accept, prepare and hand-over steps.

Rider app and live tracking

Riders get the pickup and the route, and customers watch the delivery on a map.

Payments

Card payments through Stripe or PayPal, M-Pesa, or cash on delivery.

Orders by voice or photo

For shops without a product list, customers can send a voice note or a photo of a handwritten list, as in GharTak.

More than one language

GharTak is built in Urdu and English. The same approach applies to other language pairs.

How it works

  1. 01

    Scope call

A 15-minute call about how orders reach you today, then a written scope and quote.

  2. 02

    First build

Within 10 to 14 days you get a build you can install and place a test order in.

  3. 03

    Finish and test

Payments, the staff and rider sides, and test orders with your real menu or catalogue.

  4. 04

    Launch

Submission to the App Store and Google Play under your business name.

Questions

Should I build my own app or stay on delivery marketplaces?

Many businesses do both. A marketplace brings in new customers, and your own app serves your regulars without a commission on each order.

Do I need my own riders?

The app is built to work with your own riders through a rider app. Connecting a third-party courier depends on the courier and is assessed per project.

Can it handle cash on delivery?

Yes. We build it so that cash orders are recorded against the rider who collected them, and you can settle at the end of the day.

Can it connect to my POS or till system?

It depends on the system and whether it offers an API. We check this during the scope call.

I have several branches. Can one app cover them?

Yes. We build it so that orders are routed to the right branch and each branch sees only its own.

How long does it take, and what does it cost?

A first version for one location typically takes four to six weeks. The cost depends on the features, so you get a written quote after the scope call, before any work starts.

Want orders to come straight to you?

Book a 15-minute call and tell us how customers order from you today.
